Another Teacher Resource ๐
This week, I made an easy pattern to follow. This pattern, the fishtail, is a simple one to follow and one of the first patterns I teach kids in summer camps and out-of-school care. It is essentially the same steps repeated over and over, so it’s easy to get the hang of and remember, so kids can make a bunch of bracelets and rings in different colours and pattern designs.
As I mentioned in my last post, this pattern’s difficulty is denoted by its green border and 1/3 star rating, with easy visuals for younger students to understand.
Here is the link to the resource! It is downloadable and printable.

I really enjoyed making this resource, as this bracelet is super fun and easy to make, and I have had direct experience making this type of bracelet with kids. If you don’t have a finger loom on hand, you can use your own fingers held in a peace sign! The great thing about a fishtail is that it looks very cool and complicated, but it’s super easy to learn.
