A Simpler Project ๐ธ
This past week, I have been really sick with a fever, and I haven’t been able to do much. What a waste of reading break! I don’t have any cool animals, but I did make a small flower, as they take about 20 minutes to do. I have this pattern memorized, as I made many, many of these flowers for my day campers when I was camp leader last summer.

Starting with a cap band looped around 3 times, to make a petal, loop double bands through like this until it looks like a curved triangle.

Push the petals down on your hook to make room for the next one. For this design of flower, you need 5.

Taking a single band, push everything from your hook onto it. Don’t lose the end, or everything will fall apart! (This has happened to me before.)

Secure the single band by looping it over itself and onto a petal, hiding it in the middle, and you have yourself a flower!
This is a simple and quick design that is easy to master. I’m glad I had this in my back pocket for a post this week, as I do not have the energy to concentrate on something more complicated. I’m hoping my sickness doens’t last much longer as it’s already been a week!
